About

In David Sedaris’ story “The Ship Shape,”  David and his mother overhear a woman refer to: “My home, well, one of my homes…” and are both so appalled by the phrase they begin to use it in every possible situation.

So this is my blog (well, one of my blogs) about my new house.

Since I am too busy painting and installing light fixtures to answer the phone or send proper emails, here are the promised pictures of the house updates.

I’m Kara.  I heart knitting, gardening, sewing, reading, cooking, being outside, yelling at children, and drinking wine. I do not bake. I do not crochet.
